Embracing Futures, Inc., cannot fulfill its mission without your support, and we believe it is important to maintain your trust. We adhere to the ten principles of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Donor Bill of Rights and its Code of Ethical Principles. If you are thinking about donating to us – and we would be incredibly grateful – rest assured we value responsibility, transparency and, accountability with the funds with which we are entrusted.

Orthodontic Care Program. In 2013, Embracing Futures, Inc. provided $105,550.00 of support for 32 children suffering from severe orthodontic problems. The average income of families assisted  was $22,650. The children came from Akron, Alliance, Barberton, Canton, Clinton, Cuyahoga Falls, Mogadore, Tallmadge and Uniontown. They were 48% girls and 52% boys, and their average age was 13 years old.

Oral Health Education Program. In 2013, Embracing Futures, Inc., instructed 5,786 children on the importance of brushing their teeth and overall oral healthcare, in a fun and easy way. These children were primarily third-grade students  enrolled in public, private and parochial schools from Summit and Portage counties. Along with instruction, each child received a personal tooth brush, dental floss, disclosing tablets, a tooth brushing calendar, and a certificate of participation.

Office and Administration. In 2013, Embracing Futures, Inc. worked on streamlining its back office procedures, moved its offices to freshen up its appearance and save on overhead costs, and completed a name change to better reflect its mission.
